The British Horse Loggers have been invited and generously funded by Living Heritage to hold a Competition at their Festival of Wood held at Sandringham Estate over the weekend of 15 and 16 July. This will be a new competiton, designed to test the actual working practice of horse and handler teams; building in challenge, achievability and fun! The Festival of Wood is well worth a visit with many attractions including over 40 international chain saw carvers. Put a well organised horse logging competition alongside that and you have a winner!
