Mid Wales Rifle Club

We are a small but very active club providing training and education in many Target disciplines, particularly air rifle and pistol.

We also work with local schools and with the disabled, introducing people of all ages and abilities to the sport of target rifle shooting. We attend many County Shows and similar events, promoting both the club and the sport We are affiliated to the National Smallbore Rifle Association and work closely with the British Association for Shooting and Conservation, providing qualified coaches and instructors for their "Young Shots" days.

We run regular Youth Proficiency Scheme courses, and can also provide instruction in the skill of Marksmanship for The Duke of Edinburgh's Award. We have trained several Pony Club groups in the use of air pistols, necessary for the Pony Club's Tetrathlon events.

We are a very friendly bunch and we try to encourage you to achieve what you want to within the various shooting disciplines. If your enjoyment is in informal shooting (plinking), then we cater for that. If, on the other hand, you want to be schooled to enter competitions, we have three Club Coaches who will be only too pleased to help you develop further.
