Chris Neal professional falconer with many years experience in presenting their birds of prey for educational purposes.


Falconry & Bird of Prey keepiong is an ancient art - The Hawkeye team keep this art alive and also work towards a future for birds of prey and the environment through their educational work. They regularly teach in schools, colleges and universities.Their flying displays at the shows are entertaining and thrilling as visitors well know!


Should you wish to go on a course, speak to Chris or Debbie at the show as they give courses at the Falconry Centre in the Midlands.

Chris & the team are both keen conservationists and have made many contributions in the field with birds of prey and wildlife. This includes rehabilitation of many rare breeds and closely protected species of birds of prey including the Goshawk, Hobby and Peregrine Falcon as well as the more common species, Kestrel, Sparrow Hawk, Buzzard and Owls.
Their work often takes them abroad where they work tirelessly in aid of illegal trade in wildlife. Their research, film and photographs have been used in many TV documentaries. This experience is unique to the Hawkeye yeam and is integrated into their demonstrations to bring abour awareness to all about looking after the environment.

BY ROAD
The public entrance to the Park is directly off Junction 7 of the A1(M) motorway (signposted Stevenage South). Other motorways are easily reached via the M25 (10 miles). For more information please see the Motorway Map. Ample parking is available.

BY RAIL
The nearest rail station is Stevenage, two miles away. There is a taxi rank at the station. Non stop Inter-City and local services run to Stevenage from London Kings Cross Station around every 30 minutes. Plus, there are frequent Inter-City connections on the East Coast main line to Cambridge, York, Newcastle, Glasgow, Edinburgh and many other destinations
